COVID-19 Update:

Focus in the Face of Coronavirus.

Welcome to a “new normal,” where social distancing, self-quarantining, and distance learning are now a part of everyday life. While much of the US and Canada is hunkered down in their houses watching Netflix, life is different for those considered “essential personnel.” Doctors, police officers, pharmacists, truckers, grocers and, yes, farmers are being asked to step up and continue to do their jobs in the face of adversity.

CLAAS fully understands just how important it is to be there for our dealers and customers. In this unprecedented time, CLAAS has taken a number of steps to help ensure that you will continue to have the Parts, Service and Products you need to deliver your essential crops to all parts of the world. As this situation continues to unfold on a daily basis, we will keep you informed on the impact the coronavirus may have on our operations.

PARTS

The CLAAS Parts facility in Columbus, Indiana is currently operating on a slightly restricted schedule due to new procedures and safety measures. Regular and emergency parts orders are still available for same day processing as always. While customer access inside the Columbus facility has been temporarily discontinued, orders can still be picked up curbside at a designated area outside of our facility any time Monday through Saturday.

At this time, our Parts facility in Regina, Saskatchewan is still operating at its normal capacity in support of our farmers in Canada.

SERVICE

Currently, the majority of CLAAS dealers continue to provide the same great service and store hours you have come to expect, with very few exceptions. The CLAAS Service and Warranty departments supporting those dealers are still operational, but are now working from home offices. While most of our in-person service tech training has been postponed, we are still conducting online training in order to ensure excellent support at the dealer level. You shouldn’t see any difference in the quality of service you receive based on these changes.

PRODUCTION

The CLAAS Combine plant in Omaha continues to operate at a high level while adhering to additional safety measures designed to protect employees. We are in constant contact with our suppliers and logistics providers who are continuing to serve us without delays or interruptions. At the same time, we are developing contingency plans for any unforeseen interruptions in our supply chain, in order to keep our production line on track and able to deliver our new combines in time for harvest.
